Your license, plainly.

Free includes scanning, exploring, reviewing candidates, drafting selections, exclusions, explanations, Compress estimates, Uncompress, and all prior cleanup history and identity-checked restore. New cleanup execution, compressing, Storage Story and Maintain automation require Pro or an active trial. The full Pro trial lasts seven days with no card required, then returns to Free. Each Mac gets one trial: from version 0.9.5 the trial is tied to the Mac, so reinstalling or linking an account does not restart it.

Every Pro plan covers two personal Macs at a time. The one-time launch price is US$20 for the first 500 licenses; after that, the one-time price is US$40. Both include all future major and minor upgrades while the license remains valid. Annual Pro is US$20 per year and monthly Pro is US$3 per month, with updates while subscribed; both renew automatically until cancelled. Applicable taxes appear at checkout. Open Disk Whisk → Settings → License and choose Deactivate, then activate the new Mac with the same key. If you no longer have the old Mac, open Your license on this website. Verify a code sent to the purchase email, deactivate the old seat, and activate the replacement. You can do this without creating an account.

A seat with no successful connection for 45 days is released when needed. A Mac returning after that period must activate again. A normal reinstall that preserves the login Keychain reuses the same device identity and seat. Erasing the Keychain or the Mac can require a seat transfer.

An activated one-time license receives a signed offline grant for up to 30 days and normally refreshes after seven days. Subscription grants cannot extend beyond the paid period. Connect periodically to keep Pro available. Signing out of the website does not deactivate your Mac. If a grant expires, your drafts, prior history and restore remain available in Free mode; automatic cleanup pauses.

One-time and annual purchases have a 30-day refund window. Request a refund by writing to hello@diskwhisk.com from your purchase email, with your receipt. Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time through Billing & cancellation in Your license. Cancellation at the end of a billing period preserves access through the paid period. A fully refunded or disputed payment can suspend its Pro license; history and restore remain available.

This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law. If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the Terms explain how the 30-day refund relates to your 14-day right of withdrawal.

Keep access to the email used at checkout. Key recovery, revealing a key and releasing another Mac use verification sent to that address. For a lost email account, contact support with your receipt. Never send your card details or password.
